Moscow. Her talent of a singer began to develop in her childhood. Music critics have called Pugacheva a goddess

of pop-music, and compared her to Tina Turner and Edith Piaf. Her music incorporates elements of rock, cabaret

and folklore.

Louis Armstrong is the maestro of jazz, which had a tremendous impact on the music of the 20th century, was

born in 1901 in a poor Negro borough of New Orleans. Father abandoned the family, and Louis' mother did not

give enough time to the children. Since his childhood Louis worked on the streets, where robbery and prostitution

flourished. When he was 7, the boy was taken by a Jewish family, and there he heard Russian lullaby, learned to

sing and play. Later in his compositions he uses Jewish motives, and by the end of life he will wear the Star of

David. Louis Armstrong learns from famous musicians of the time, he plays and sings in jazz ensembles. In the

50-ies Louis becomes a whole-world known musician and entertainer; he is filming, writing books. The songs

"Hello, Dolly! " and "What a Wonderful World" sung by Armstrong held first place in the world charts for a long

period of time. Armstrong's death in 1971 shocked the world.
